More About Us

Flowers&Bones was founded in Los Angeles, by Deborah Glovier.

Deborah grew up in a small town in Kentucky, graduated from Purdue University, went NYC and received a design degree from F.I.T., moved to Los Angeles, where she built a career in luxury retail. One of the Companies she spent many years with was Dolce&Gabbana, before going on her on as a consultant.

After retail, she fell in love with working dogs and truly learned how to live with these powerful dogs, while maintaining her "luxury" standards. With this said, she designed her downtown lofts around the needs of her dogs, worked on design projects with others and resold both art and design pieces that she would often use in projects.

During the pandemic, she moved back to Kentucky and built a black bardominum, where she trains and breeds working dogs. The significance of this is that her entire design was centered on function, sustainability and the ability to maintain a proper home, that she is able to share with her K9's.
